At Settlers Life we take our role as a corporate citizen seriously.
With success comes certain responsibility. We believe that for Settlers Life to be a good citizen we must give back to the community, and seek to help those who are less fortunate. By doing so we believe we help to make our community a better one. We also encourage you to participate by giving to your community what you can afford in time and financial support.

In September 2015 for Hunger Action Month, Settlers Life employees donated 303 lbs of food to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Southwest Virginia!
|Settlers Life employees have donated over 427 units of blood, which are used to touch lives in the Bristol, VA/TN community. The blood mobile makes a regular stop at 1969 Lee Hwy. once each quarter.|
In 2001 Settlers Life was a founding member of this community musical festival celebrating Bristol, TN-VA as the "Birthplace of Country Music". The company and its people annually support the festival as an event and stage sponsor.

As a corporate sponsor from 2003-2008, the agents and employees of Settlers Life raised over $25,000 for the American Diabetes Association through employee fundraisers and 3 mile walks for Diabetes. Settlers Life raised more than $3,200 for the ADA in 2015!
