Since joining Settlers in the spring of 2003, I have had the opportunity to develop many new and valued relationships as our company has expanded into 29 states. With this growth, we have continued to be driven by our service philosophy of always striving to be "…one of the best small companies selling life insurance in your hometown." ® The slogan has few words but its meaning is huge to the folks here at Settlers Life as we continue our dedication and drive to provide quality products and services.

Marketing is a fast paced, often challenging environment that is characterized by change. When you are continually striving to satisfy changing needs of your customers, change is constant. Pain and frustration is often felt as we go through the development, training and implementation of new techniques and processes but the satisfaction is tremendous once benefits are realized.

I joined the Settlers Life Marketing Team in 1988. Since then I have had the privilege of being part of a growth process that stemmed from a captive company, to an independent distribution force of approximately 2800 agents, located throughout 29 states.

This concentration has allowed us to maintain a product portfolio that includes final expense products geared toward different health conditions, simplified applications and comprehensive service support to our agents
