Marketing Support Staff
Tony Cositore Vice President of Marketing Tony assumed the leadership of our Marketing Department on April 19, 2004. He brings with him thirty years of experience which is almost evenly divided between running an agency and working in the home office in various management positions. Tony will be very active in leading our field force and support staff to even higher levels of quality production. He has already made numerous field trips with Regional Marketing Directors Eddie Grills and Mike Munn and plans to continue this personal contact on a monthly basis. Joanne Hodgson Marketing Director Joanne is our "constant point of contact" for the agency force, normally located at the Home Office and leading the Marketing support staff. Supervising the lead operation, licensing and appointments, and advertising, she stays busy working for the agency force. "At Settlers Life, our motto is 'Special Plans for Special People'. When we refer to 'special plans' we are focusing on the delivery of quality insurance products designed to provide funds to help ease the burden of final expenses. Mike Munn Regional Marketing Director Mike joined our Marketing Staff as Regional Marketing Director on June 14, 2004. To better serve the growing needs of his region, Mike is working out of his home which is located in Durham, NC. He is responsible for the states of North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Mike started his insurance career as an agent in 1976 and progressed to sales manager and district manager positions as well as a regional sales director, allowing him to work with an independent field force since 1995. He also managed captive agent sales distributions for many years. Mike is actively engaged in meeting our field force and promoting effective prospecting and recruiting, quality service, increased persistency, production and ongoing training. "It's a great day at Settlers Life and my greatest moments are those I spend in the field working with our agents - either to introduce them to our company and help bring them aboard or familiarizing them with how to do business with the Settlers Life family. Eddie Grills Regional Marketing Director Eddie has been with Settlers Life since 1987. A dedicated "road warrior" he enjoys meeting agents on their home turf, helping them prosper, and making them part of the team at Settlers Life. "This is an exciting time at Settlers Life. Our expansion into new states offers positive possibilities. The web is a new and valuable tool for our field force. And our friendly and helpful administrative staff in Bristol are ever ready and willing to assist in any way possible.
